St. Joseph’s Academy is seeking an energetic teacher who is enthusiastic about promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles for students. Must develop and deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation in a wide variety of physical activities and sports while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of all skill levels. The teacher should be comfortable incorporating diverse activities and open to creative or unique teaching approaches that make lessons engaging and fun.
Responsibilities also include teaching health concepts, promoting wellness, and supporting students in developing lifelong healthy habits. Must assess student progress and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Role: The successful candidate will be an 11-month employee. The position includes conducting summer PE courses.
Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
